Banned from TEN}{TW][TTS Server

Thought I would post this here as I have tried to register on their forums but it requires an admin to accept which they haven't yet

Hopefully this thread will get me an answer to why I was banned because well its not all that nice to be accused of cheating, anybody that knows me here will testify that I do not & never have cheated


I was cross examined one night whilst playing on their server, I was asked about my upload speed, what country I was from etc.. and the guy just kept saying I had unfair advantage??, in the end I was kicked with my cd key banned

Its a real shame tbh, I used to enjoy playing there now and again because they have lots of crazy custom maps & they seemed to be really nice people, always polite and welcoming, basically a nice server

yeah I was scoring high but thats not really an excuse to ban somebody, if this thread doesn't get me an answer then thats fine, no real drama, I will just take the server out of my favs and forget about it

I'm banned there too, and like you I was unable to successfully register on their forum.

As far as I can tell, the admin of that server ("Ouch" is his name, I believe) is extremely paranoid and enjoys beating up noobs. Anyone that makes the mistake of being better than him gets banned. Here's a choice quote from their forums:

"Been made to feel a little average on the server over the last few days only to be told by OUCH a good 60% of the players are cheating so that makes me feel a little better or just may be i really am crap lol ."

lol, I see now, paranoia indeed, I know they all post here so it will be interesting to see if they reply to this thread, banning people for being better than you is just silly, I have seen it many times before and after a while the clan/community just becomes a joke to everyone

Apparently these guys have been playing UT since the very beginning, they really should know better, be interesting to see if they reply to this thread

Tbh,
Those players aren't very skilled, and if you're looking to improve as a player, you should be hitting the more populated servers that won't boot\ban you for being above the server average.
There's another clan that does that, I won't name any names for the sake of the continuation of this thread, but needless to say it seems to be an ongoing theme for clans that play poorly. Accuse better players of cheating so as not to burst the little bubble they're living in.
I really wouldn't expect a reply, players like ouch, do indeed like owning noobs and think they're "pro-players" and when a real pro player comes along and owns then, their ego can't handle it and BAM! you find yourself banned.
Seriously dude, there are allot of other servers that are friendly, and welcome good players. It's kind of sad to see a small community cannibalize itself.

There's usually always a game going on DFB, with decently skilled players.

I am not looking to improve as a player, I played there now and again purely because of the wacky maps, in relation to this thread all I am doing is calling them on it

That said I do agree with a lot of what you have said Skippy, makes sense m8
