Final is now here.

Key Changes:


Fixed AI falling down.
Player shouldn't be able to get out of the map anymore.
Fixed weird 4V6 glitch.
Fixed mantle issues on some cover.
Changed check spawn distance, AI and player can now spawn closer to enemies.
Moved some spawn points to the middle for more action there
Improved lighting.

played the final, all bug fixed now, no falling down, no 4vs6...bots still stick together, as kantham said before, no way to fix this, maybe only map size similar to redalert can fit the new spawn system, force the bot moving to fight, anyway, this is Rambo game time,1 vs N...

i add some command to increase the firerate and magsize, so force the bots just keep shooting and shooting , make this big map not that quiet, and made redalert more dangerous...

Yes, i played this map for a long time, finally find this little way to add more fun like redalert gameplay, i'll report more funny things found later...

It's a bug i met, one locust stick in a corner and keep shooting like Raam, very crazy, never stop, i was shot dead
by him 3 times!! so this reminds me to change the bot action, made them more tough even they seldom move...

more ammo and magsize are needed, or the bot can't keep shooting for a long time, so if you want big challenge, you can add command to increase the bot damage to you. The command really help a lot, or the bot just hide there and do nothing, u c they seldom running out often and fight in big maps like this, but they did a lot in redalert, since there're not many place is safe in that map...i add these to assault rifle, since bots use them most time, also other weapons are slow, can't force the bot keep shooting...

now in this map, even the bots stay together and no move, they can keep shooting and no stop quickly,
no more hiding now,they got tough fire power, much more danger to you, they just continue shooting as long as they can,till they change mag. This just gave me a gears 2 feelings, u c the trajectory is not that thick in gears 1,
if you played some night maps, it looks very beautiful, gunfire trajectory everywhere, hot battlezone...

now i suffered a lot from these tough bots...

Can you copypaste the exact TXT lines you got there?
The "no more hiding" part is what is escaping me here.. I'm really curious because WE did not find any dynamic cure to this problem other than triggering crap.

i just use some command to improve the bots ,like:

and assaultrifle for bots shoot frequencies, like:

made bots run a little faster,
set WarfareGame.WarPawn DefaultGroundSpeed 340
thre're some delay time, AI_AimDelay (X=0.025,Y=0.05) ,i just reduce them all, anyway the bot can keep shooting for at least 1 minute, not shoot stop shoot, only when they want to move or evade, they stop. Now though bots stick in one place, they keep shooting very crazy fast, like gears 2 campaign, gun fire everywhere, made Deevern 3 times danger than before.

Darksin, I'm afraid but after testing it I haven't seen any differences really. Specifically for the "camping" issues. Not the lancer.

I'm afraid that's not possible for this here. Everything in kismet is "coded" for one player, adding one more would cause a lot of crash if not make it completely unplayable. Plus many people have tried for their own projects and it didn't work.

So it's not that we didn't want to support it. ;)

well i think the magsize and firerate things only focus on making the bot keep shooting for much longer time and faster, not force the bot running around more often...bot still camp, sorry man....

i spawn in a black room of which i cant escape!
ive downloaded the map and the txt file, and put them in their correct places :(

u missed the spawn.upk file......download from kantham's mod page...

Which is clearly stated in the README and website in the description.
The TXT comes with the UPK file.

If you downloaded a Lance 2 level then it won't work. Currently there are only 2 L3 levels avail.

I'm glad to see that someone still supports GoW PC, and your DL links still work xD

A few questions though,
Are the Horde/Endurance levels still up? (Lance 2?)

I have a problem though, movement feels slower/sluggish when I'm playing Locust compared to when I play COGs. =(

lol :) just got this game because i was amazed how my cousin played Gears of War 2, and it has bots. So i heard GoW has a PC version, and i am sad that it has no AI...

i have read that this lance version or sumthng is like an AI correct? and this map supports that MOD?
