Can we expect make something unreal mods on Steam?

I mean all the mods that were listed on the Steam News site, including The Haunted, can we expect those on Steam?

If you buy the game, you can have as many maps/mods as you want.;) Dont matter what version you have.

Yeah thanks mister obvious, I was talking about downloadable mods for UT3 on Steam itself, last news on Steam about the UT3 free weekend suggested this will be available and it still isn't.

I doubt the mods will show up on Steam. There is too much work that needs to be done by too many people in different camps to make that work. You would need Valve, Epic, and the mod's creator to all get together to work it out. Someone would also have to pick up the bill.

Valve games have mods on Steam because Steam is Valve's. I haven't seen any none Valve game that has mods available on Steam.

Most of the best mods have good installers anyways. It would kind of seem like overkill.

The mods are community made and supported. Epic, and Steam, will not be including them in any official way.

Installing mods on Steam games like UT3 can indeed be a little time consuming, but having them fully supported on Steam could give some other good advantages. I don't think it will happen so soon though.
