Sniper The Passengers (Or Drivers)

Anyone know if you can sniper rifle headshots or bodyhits while targets are in vehicles? I remember in UT2k4, a team mate got killed by a Queen while they were on the back of the Hellbender but I didn't die (drivers seat). Not managed to do it myself but was curious if it's possible and on which vehicles if any or do you become one with the vehicle (lol) when you jump in?

Also, anyone noticed that on Avalanche, near the 1st node the bots use the scorpoin self distruct at the first hill even when no enemies nearby, all you hear iss beep beep boom! beep beep boom! :D

I know you can get headshots on people in the manta, I've done that a couple times.Also you can headshot the people in the leviathon turrets,can't headshot the driver.You can headshot people in stationary turrets to.I'm goin to assume you can headshot people in the viper and the hellbender gunner position,although I've never managed to do it and I've been playing this game for about a year.(I've only started playing online and being active in the forums in the past couple months)

hellbender turret is easily possible. viper, stinger/rocket turret also works, but only from a certain angle making it very hard to headshot these.

any vehicle/turret where they are in the open except the darkwalker second seat ( for some weird reason ) you can snipe but half the time the vehicles blocking volume just gives away your position... wish epic would fix it...

Whenever you can see the "Body" of the player you can hit them (Manta, Hellbender Gunner, Viper and so on once you see the player you can get them even in defence turrets).

BTW i think i have killed the Darkwalker gunner once not sure but i remember i did it yesterday or two days ago.

I myself am not sure about it lol... but i'm sure i got a strange kill there
it was either with a sniper rifle or an AVRiL

i was killed in ma gunner seat in the hellbender, sniping from the sniper spot behind the base. 3 sniper shots took me out at 199 health. (may have been a headshot in there)

You CAN kill passengers and drivers on some vehicles. Killing people in the hellbender turret is pretty amusing and is something i try to do as often as possible. Ive only managed to kill a manta driver 2 or 3 times and about the same for viper drivers.
