-UPDATE-I'm getting a program called DAZ, I will remake this and update this thread.

Hey guys, first off I want to say I will be making this, but it is still in the design stage and it is very basic because I don't have those programs like Maya, I just used sketchup.

I'm very happy with the design aesthetics-wise, although the sketchup file doesn't show, I can already see in my head how it should turn out. The name Chimera is pretty cool because the vehicle has spikes on it's 'back" and it similar to a dragon ( a Chimera is a dragon).

Pretty much this vehicle is like a scout glider, with low fire power and weak armor, but it is fast.

Features:
-2 chaingun turrets at top as primary ability
-as secondary ability it has a dodge-ability where it spins out of control and takes off at high speed (questionable), if that doesn't work I may do another weapon in the back of the glider that drops bombs (oh yeah, if thats possible..)
-the glider is similar to a Banshee if any of you play Halo, it can never come to a complete stop, it is always gliding. But you can accelerate and decelerate, and it's top speed is very fast.
-it cannot hover
-1 person only, but Hoverboards can grapple.

These are my first screenshots posted on this site, so it may not work...and remember, extremely basic design.

Lol yeah sorry if you don't like it, like I said verrrrryyy basic design and little aesthetics, if I get a more advanced program for this I plan to revision this with a fully textured design.

Looks like google sketchup. I use that for making blue prints for buildings/levels. Then I bring it into max and do all the 3D work.

Well, you already went for DAZ, but I'd check out Blender. It's complicated, but well documented, and a vehicle like that shouldn't be too dreadfully hard to model. Also, good luck teaching yourself to model. It took me months, I'm still no great shakes.
