Change player 2 nickname and buttons on splitscreen

There is any way to change player 2 nickname and buttons in splitscreen mode on PS3?

Hi ThoR, I've recently played splitscreen and found out that player 2 can change his control settings by pressing the start button, then R1 so that he can see the settings menu.
But I don't think it's possible to change his name.

what about the character, we cant change that..thats looks bad!
