What's the main thing that got your attention and why are you going to buy it?

then i started downloading some GOW trailers.

Yeah, the graphics were mind-blowing, so those pretty much reeled me in..but the tactical elements sold me on the game.

Back in the day I remember looking at some of the early character models on the net up at work and the people around me saying no way are those going to look that good, this was before the 360 was even out, and well we all know now they willl and do look great. The style of gameplay does scare me a little, jumping from cover to cover is cool, but will it get old fast? Is there a middle ground from run and gun to cover and shoot? If they can pull that off it should be great. I just don't want it to turn into frogger with guns.

The graphics, gameplay, sound, and, of course, chainsaw, all come together to form a great game. You can already tell that this game is going to be without flaw.

That's funny, there was no chainsaw in the first trailer/movie.If you looked carefully at that weapon it was pretty obvious there was something going on. We weren't 100% sure that we'd get the chainsaw functionality in the game so we tried not to play it up but people definitely noticed and we've had lots of questions about it in the past.

At first, after reading about the game and not knowing to much about it i was kind of turned off. I can't really get into 3rd person shooter, i'm more of a first person shooter myself. Then as the more i read into it i couldn't help but find myself become more interested in it. As everyone stated, "Graphics" is a big turn on for me, and second the Chainsaw is going to be a nut buster when its all said and done.

I loved the fact that it wasn't just a another FPS. Also, the gameplay is super creative. But the main reason im buying it is to play co-op with my friend who has no 360. Though the graphics were what got my attention at first....:)

Well what originally got my attention was the graphics shown at E3 last year. I was very impressed, but hadn't decided what next-gen console I was going to get yet. Then I saw more and more info on it, and started getting very excited. Then I bought my 360, and thats when my interest really picked up, because I knew I'd be able to play this game.

So what I'm looking foward to now is;

The graphics and engine is absolutely amazing. Great fan of horror and military games which makes this game perfect for me. TPS with cover system is also my favourite genre.:)

How it got my attention?
E3 2005. Saw the trailer and was hooked, been searching info and watching vids ever since.
Why am I buying it?
1) It's an Epic game, I love Epic.
2) A world with developed history and story for the characters.
3) The characters themselves. (Any game with a guy as badass as Marcus, I'm buying.)
4) The graphics and physics engine(s), look fantastic. True next gen.
5) Stop and Pop.
6) The no respawns deathmatch, which will force players to actually work as a team for once.
7) The general feel of the game. You can tell it's been put together by people who love games and try their best to put what they love and the people love, into the product.
8) Who can deny CliffyB? He's a god unto himself, and he demands nothing of us except that we enjoy the game.

How it got my attention?
Looked like a promising shooter game in E³ 2005.
Why am I buying it?
1. The co-op has the same attention as the single player.
2. Single player's campaign.
3. The badasses in the game.
4. It will be the first game I will get when I get the Xbox 360, reason I'm getting an Xbox 360 instead of waiting for Halo 3.
5. Graphics.
6. A change from 1st person shooters, but still not a huge step away from it. You can take my bottle away, but give me a lollypop if you do!
