Erm, what?
Aspho feilds? Then yeah............
It's a game, where not on Earth, the planet's name is Serra. You have a gun with a chainsaw on it, to kill Locust that come out of the ground. So something as small as this should not bug you.
Unless I'm mistaking your statement for something else.
I really need more information on what you are trying to say.

Nahm it didn't bug me. I suppose it could have been any amount of believable hours similar to our own time.

The clocks = plot hole
But not big enough to compare to the hole in Carmine's head.

Where did you get the information, life on sera has 26 hours in the day. I read the novel and don't remember anything about 26 hours in a day.:o

If there ages about 34-36 relative to their own time (14 months a year, 26 hours a day, not sure how much days a month) what age would they be approximately relative to our own time?
I hope I didn't mess the wording up into an unreadable question.
*****EDIT*****
If anyone is still wondering where the hours in a day is mentioned, it's chapter 12. I remember because I just got through it yesterday.
And even later in the chapter Carlos glances at his watch and mentions the time is 24:30 if I remember correctly.

Just throwing this out here, but is the answer 34 & 32? I don't know? I just took away two years.:o

Remember though that it is a different planet and they may well live a bit longer then we do.

**Calculator time**
432 months = 36 years - Our own time.
504 months = 36 years - Their time.
504 months = 42 years - Our time.
If I got it right. That's not taking into account the extra 2 hours a day and the possibility that their days per month may be different.
I think I've got too much spare time on my hands.

Haha, well it's still great though! So Marcus could be 42 in our times?

That's a possibility.
With these differences in time I don't think anything is set in stone.

Yeah, your right, but it's still cool knowing how old Marcus is.

ok..........this is getting creepy, guys trying to figure out the Locust language and others who are calculating how old Serans would be in our own time measurements.

Dont forget that in the Gears universe their days have 26 hrs instead of 24, and each year has 14 instead 12 months so if Marcus was 36, he would look more like what we consider a 44-46 year old, if the humans of sera age the same as we do anyways.
I posted this on a previous thread, all the math is not including if they have an equivalent to a "leap year"

I belive the winter of Sarrow was when the town (forgot name) was first lost to the Locust.

Yes, it occured when the Locusts attacked Landown. Though, Tai mentioned that the Winter of Sorrrow was a bad omen.

The Winter of Sorrow was, I think, 10 years after E-Day. But wait, that's when the Battle of Ephyra was fought... Hmm. Same year, maybe. I'll look it up.

Yeah, the Winter of Sorrow took place before the Battle of Ephyra. Landown would have been lost after the Battle of Ephyra anyway, and there needn't have been a battle... Just the Locust keeping the occupants penned in and starving them to death, maybe keeping up mortar and nemacyst and reaver fire. Yeah, the Fall of Landown was what marked the beginning of the Locust Campaign that took most of Ephyra.
