So here's what I've been working on lately. This is part of a project in which I mainly just study the engine, so that I can later start a bigger project I have in mind without any big problems.

He's still a bit pale, but that's going to be fixed :)

Hi there.

The model is very good, nice topology. The texture is getting there but some proper photsourced stuf would really help. I started a project to model Neo and Smith, only got Neo 80% done im afraid as photosource for those guys is tough to find.

Do a bit more on the face and tone down the specularity saturation for the hair and I reckon it will look muhc better.

Still good though.:)

ok, thanks. So my check list is this:

-better skin tone
-more detail on the face texture
-less saturated specular for the hair

So u didn't start working on Neo yet? I'm going to, as soon as I finish this one :P

These skins are a part of a small mod project I'm working on, just to get to know the engine before starting anything bigger

Yeah , I did do the Neo ( the coat is a pain) and hes mostly done, but it wasnt intended for UT. But definately photosourced images will help a lot with the face and hair. I have some high res hair I can send you that might help and some pshop brushes, but for actual hugo Weeaving shots for reference they are rare, i was never able to find any useful stuff:(

Looks good. His face needs a little more detail, and his hair needs less specularity saturation, as Wolv said. I would like to have a full team of Agents, from all the movies (As the secondary in the first movie were replaced to upgrades, so all of them would be perfect). Also, some taunts extracted from the movies would be kick-ass.

Like on the last movie, close to the end, when Neo gets in the Matrix for the last time, it's raining, there are Smiths all over the place, bla, bla, bla... and they have a little chat, and right before they start fighting Smith says "We already know that I'm the one that beats you".
Other example would be ahead, when Neo is down, and Smith asks him "Why get up?", and "Why keep fighting?". Nice taunts, right?

Anyways, keep up the good work.

The next thing after fixing the textures on Smith is that I model Neo. After that I'll think about something more.
I haven't planned for a big project; as I said, this is only a small study-project to get to know the engine. Nothing serious :)

C'mon, man, think BIG. This has future. This has potential. If you made only those two, in which team would you put them in? The Krall? :rolleyes:.

Heh, I was thinking about the ironguard :P but maybe I could try the krall :D

Anyway, I did a quick fix-up on the face, hair and hand textures

Well, no one in here is obligating you to like UT...

About that character, looks good, but you still have a lot of work until it becomes perfect.

And about the mod, good luck, and you've got someone already waiting here...

I'm thinking about leaving Smith the way he is for now. And sorry, nothing big to look forward to :D most probably the only thing you'll see about the mod in the future is the Neo-skin :P The rest will just be put in my portfolio and gathered together as a personal playground on my computer, unless I personally think it's good enough to be shared when it's done :P
