Hello, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I renamed a resource in one of my packages (a font, to be specific). Now, I don't want it anymore... but when I try to delete it, I get this:

There are no other references to it, just the ObjectRedirector. How do I get around this?

Turn of any of the programs/applications that might be running it (edtor, UT3...).

I'm not trying to delete an entire package, just one resource that's in it. I may be missing something, but is it possible to delete a part of a package without the editor open?

Yes, lots of people have had this problem. One way of deleting a stubborn resource is to rename it into a new package, then save your package but don't save the new package. Close and reopen UEd and you will find that the offending object no longer exists.

Woo hoo, brilliant! Thanks Mr. E, that worked perfectly.

Yeah, it seems to be a lot more of a pain to get rid of old resources in this new editor. I don't think I've ever been able to delete anything without doing the rename workaround. there should be a "Die in a fire" option or something.
