Hi there,

I've been making some vehicles in 3d studio max and I just started learning unreal editor 3. I learned enough to atleast create a simple level and insert vehicles, so now I want to put one of my own in there. I'm looking for something that explains how to set it up (grouping, skinning boning etc..) in 3d studio max (using version 8 at the moment), then how to set it up to run in unreal ed 3.

The vehicle I'm looking to make is a harley fatboy. Ive already made a high poly version, about 128,000 polys. So was hoping to find a good step by step tutorial or walkthrough before I go about creating the in-game version.

I'm just wanting to make it rideable. That would include things like making it stay up on two wheels when its not moving so it doesnt tip over; turning the front wheel; and how to adjust the vehicles physics as far as speed, and turning, possibly adjusting the weight. Doesnt need a rider, but I may add one if this goes well

Thanks

geodav's vehicle tutorial (http://www.ut40k.planetunreal.gamespy.com/unreal-Dateien/ut3tuts/UT3_Vehicle_tutorial_1.htm) seems pretty popular.

yep thats all do able with a bit of hard work and cheating (invisible stabilizers, think of a kids bike), getting the forks/handle bars to steer would be the hardest part i think.

ps please
harley fatboy use the full name Harley-Davidson there's a reason for the second name ;)
