matinee repeat issue

I have made an example of weather for a class project through matinee. Flashes are timed to the Lightning emitter and it works fine through the first play. After going through it the first time, however, the timing of the flashes and the lightning are off. I know this is probably due to the curve setting. Is there a way to fix this problem without using linear or constant? Please try looking through the attached .zip for more info on what is happening because this was not a simple problem as I first thought.

before I DL, maybe a screenshot of the kismet and matinee involved ? it could just be something to do with how you're looping or connecting the kismet elements. A lot of help can be done through screenshots even before I need to DL and get my hands on it.
