I actually hope Gears of War breaks from tradition and the next Carmine lives... that is all.

I mean, he's the older brother, so he should be a bit like the boys in delta squad: big, tough, knows what to expect, and plenty of experience.

Might not wear a helmet too, that would be sweet seeing a carmine without a helet.

Nah, the Carmines are the sort of redshirt sort of people, at least they remain anonymous. I didn't want Ben to die, it was kinda stupid because it was like representing the player who hasn't been in this war as long as Marcus and the others. He was a good character and he should not have died. His death was too tragic, too random and less awesome than Ant's. Clay sounds like a bad ass Cole sort of guy. Hopefully he will suppress him and his generic following.

The thing is it kind of seems to be a running joke that the carmine characters are doomed to die but theres no reason why Clay shouldn't be a break from tradition. If he is in the next game..

yea sorry to say but if clay is in gears 3 hes gonna die lol... you see the carmines are kindof like those random guys on star trek who appear for one episode too die on an alien planet so captian kirk could fig out there is somthing wrong

I dont think Epic will kill Clay.
This is because everyones expects him to die and all through the story youll be guessing when he dies.
Everyone didnt know whether Ben was going to die or not but now theyve killed 2 of the 4 carmine brothers i think Epic will choose to keep the remaining 2 or at least one alive.

I hope so at least :)
I also hope both clay and the other Carmine brother are in number 3.

Yeah Dan Carmine lets just call him that. He will live. Clay needs to die by a Locust Cyclops with a Lancer. Get chainsawed from behind. Strating at his Manhood and going up to the top. It should be extremly gorey. Make it the Gorest death to ever happen in Gears. That would be SWEEEEEEEEET.

The carmines are not my type. If he dies I would'nt mind. But I have a feeling that Clay will have a chance at living. And that he is not going to be all buff.

I think Clay will be angry at Marcus at first for getting his brothers killed. Through the story he gets to know Marcus and when Clay is dying, he'll say "I have a new brother" and die........................................*Nuclea r Explosion*

What the Heck A NEW BROTHER. And Why would Clay be mad. To the Carmine family it brings honor to the Name to die in battle. He would not be mad. He would be more like thank you. you brought more honor to our name. Just read Carmines bio. I can't remeber if it is the one on the Gears site or the one on the Back of NECA Carmines Box. But I do remember reading somewhere it brings Honor to the Carmine name if one Dies in battle.

Hey after the war the Carmines will start a gang to centinue to bring honor to there name.

And your wrong they do think that dieing brings honour to the family name it doesn't mean they set out to die. Fighting and living would be more honourable no? You fought and never gave up sorta thing... And your spelling aint great xD

I think I have a visual on what Clay will look like.
In the Gears 2 campaign, a few of the gears you encounter (all of the clones of A/B Carmine) actually had a slightly different helmet.
Idk if anyone else noticed this, but i did.
This gear definently looked cooler than both of the others so i hope he is Clay.
(Kind of off topic, but i wanted to share this =D)

Yeah I noticed those too, you find a lot of them in the hospital in act 1 ( one that comes to mind is where you ambush the locust with the gas tanks, there's one crouched at a wall, and a few others earlier in the level.)

im hoping gears 3 has the other 2 brothers (their older i think, well at least clay is)
one dies saving the others, and clay removes his mask at the end. this way we get a insight and they actually die a heroes death. altho one should be spared

i hope carmine dies, it only makes sence since delta squad is the 4 main people. they wouldnt add another main character to make it to the end with them. also then i would get to laugh again when then next wave of "EPIC WHY DID YOU KILL CARMINE!!!" threads invade the boards.

Maybe, but Marcus was in the pendelum wars and other hardcore fights, so he will take all his anger out on one of the new locust bosses.

I hope that both carmines live. There two more so anything could happen to them. Altho epic prefers to kill them I hope they dont. One of them is named Clay Carmine and the one is D. Carmine I don't have any Ideas on how maybe his name is but oh well. I hope D.Carmine is the Oldest and that he's badass. I hope they all have helmets because they look exactly like minh withouth the helmet.

The face beneath the Carmine helmet (i have seen this on youtube and when a game has frozen) is Kim, so if they DO try to show his face I hope they make it tight.

That's just silly, if one of the next Carmines was a locust, then that would make them all locusts and since we have just said that he looks like Kim then there is no way that would ever work and that would just open up another question, why would they help us?

I dunno a friend of mine said, that apparently the Locust wanted to help the humans but somehow, as always the humans were too ego and didn't want their help. You may be wondering, why do the locust want to help us? Well apparently it's because there is something far more evil and dangerous coming...

That's what the Queen says. She say's that she would have asked for help, but she knew humans would view them as monsters, and were to power hugrey.

He's not going to die! He's going to live right the way through the story and then in the ending scene as Delta Squad flies, drives, sails, runs (etc) away from the destruction of Locust Stronghold and the queen says her speech Clay will die in some dramatic way, the inpeding wall of fire catches him up/ stands his ground from the remants of the Locust Gandalf style/ etc, etc

apparently 4 carmines.. anthony sniped in the head, ben molested by a worm intestine critter... so 2 left.
apparently gears is gonna be a trilogy, so the last 2 should appear in gears 3.

helmet tradition shouldnt be broken, all carmines should wear helmets (they both look like minh yung kim underneath anyway...) but different kinds for each one,
and i rekon one of the carmines should survive...dont kill em all off.

did dizzy die? i wasn't sure, scourge chainsaw him?

Limes Skorges Color, Reds mine, You can have Blue, or White, maybe just plain Green.
I don't think their will be a GoW 4 or 5 but I never lose hope. GoW 3 maybe, but not a 4 and 5.
