NECA Collection and Ideas for NECA

I am posting this thread for everyone to share what they have in their NECA Collection. Or what you would like NECA to make. wheather it be a Action Figures or a possed sceen Like RAAM stabing Kim. Or Cole curb Stomping Gurbs and Such and such.

I have The Series 1 Box Set. 5 Locust Drone Headshots. I use them for Locust bodies. I have Series 2 Dom and Baird. Series 2 Theron Guard and Sentinal. I just got The Marcus vs Locust Chainsawed 2 pack. I have Series 3 preordered and it should be shiping to me this week. I also have the Locust Hive box set and Kim Vs RAAM 2pack preodered.

I would like NECA to make a Beserker, Kantus, and Skorge Figure. As for possed sceens I would like a Random COG getting Chainsawed by a Locust Cyclops. I also think a Tortured Tia would be a cool Comic Con EXclusive.

Reaver. If it's possible at all. The Reaver really is the most iconic example of the "bigger, better, more badas*" mantra; going from basically a fancy setpiece in Gears 1 to a full-fledged ground and air enemy and controllable vehicle in Gears 2.

I'd love to see a wretch. Hands down. With the series moving forward past a wave 4 (ie, wave 5), we know these figures are selling well to collectors (especially me alone..heh) and that NECA is probably looking at future products.

Another simple clone would probably be a Drone w/ Standing Troika. The body is already complete as is the front of the troika (tho albeit a bit small imho) so the rear of the troika and new head would all that would be needed.

Flame Boomer would be easy as well and possibly may be in the works. The standard boomer only needs a flamer helmet, a backpack, and a scorcher. These items exist already in the NECA base parts and would simply need some adjusting.

The Helmeted Drone with Respirator Mask would be a nice add-in for the Hive box set. Seeing how the respirator is only half of the face mask, the molding has mostly been done. If they don't include this one, I'm def making one.

Bloodmount - god yes, I'd love this box set of a beast rider+bloodmount. Hands down.

Kantus and Skorge - while I'm not familiar enough with the two, Id imagine individual armor pieces could be used on the upper torso + head sculpts to make the most out of a base. The Kantus is VERY desired amongst fans and Skorge is as well.

I could care less for a helmeted Theron Guard - of course, I already made one so I'm happy...heh. Another fact about the Therons is that they were so few in Gears2. Either you were bunkered down with Grenadiers or you were fighting palace guards. Regular Therons didn't make too many appearances. I'd buy him sure tho. Gotta catch em all.

The Reaver, as much as I'd love to see it, just isn't doable. At least not in the current scale. The production value alone would be ridiculously high and the risk NECA would take with such a big piece that probably wouldn't move as fast (especially in this squatty economy) is just too high. NECA is out to make money as well as please fans and I don't see how the Reaver would be in their best interest. They are better off sticking to foot soldier sculpts that can reuse body parts.

Same thing goes for Berserkers. A) see above and b) there are just too few in the games to begin with - a total of 3.

I was hoping that the S.1 Helmeted drone would be able to be displayed with just the helmet and respirator. But you're right, all it needs is a slight bit more added to the respirator and it'll be gold.

I still want a Helmeted Theron so bad, I don't think they should have made the Hemetless at all. You barely saw them at all in either games.

The only way I could ever see them doing a Reaver is by some sort of BAF (Build a Figure) but even then, NECA themselves said they don't like doing BAFs as made apparent by there Resident Evil 10th S.2 Tyrant.

All I can say is we want every Gear in the game, even Tai and Dizzy.
We also want every weapon in the game, which is bound to come true some time soon. I can't wait for the Boom Shield!
