GoW2 is a very nice game but the multiplayer is bull****.Almost every game is very laggy because the host comes from the end of the world.Ist Epic Games so avariciously that they cant place some server.You have made enough money.....whats the Problem?Learn a lesson from EA.You can play Battlefield with 64 people and its not laggy.And then you play gow2 with 10 people and its laggy like hell...thats bull****.What are you doing for your european customers????I think you are doing nothing for us,thats sad and you will loose money because you loose customers.MP-system on GoW1 was much better because you can search a match with a good connection.

Well, I suggest you play Gears 1 until Epic fix Gears 2.

But I do think they need to make an effort with the online, unless the Unreal Engine cannot be used with servers.

Epic said that they want use unreal 3 servers for gow2 but we are still waiting.Epic copied the mp-system from halo 3.Why didnt they integrate the function that people can choose if they play again people from europe or world wide.?When a player from europe is the host then people from the usa have a bad connection and the other way round too :( Gow2 is such a nice game but when you have always a bad connection.....yeah its not fair.The european gamers paid 70-90€ like the american gamers too and i think we have the same right to have fun with this game.I know it is impossible to please everybody but i think it shouldn´t be a problem for epic to solve the connection problem.Battlefield from EA for example.Dedicated Server are not expensive Epic Games....not for you!

Read the other forum. The next update is trying to include better chances for people to be playing in american servers if you are in america.

Isn't it funny though? How i NEVER heard a german, or any other non-immigrant complain about american lag? its always the other way around. Strage, that led me to believe either we are snobby people who complain more than any other place in the world, OR....they don't lag as much as we lag to them?

Who knows. But they are trying to make hosts only in american.

Do I understand this right?Only american gamer shall become host?What is with us?Then we can forget it to play ranked matches?They shoold include a function that gamer can choose where they want play (world wide,america,europe,asia,etc).I think thats the best solution...no the best solution is to use dedicated server but it seems that EPIC GAMES (Epic Games is a BIG business I think) has not enough money.Maybe we should start a fundraising campaign for epic.
