Game has "UNSUUAL" behavior!

so earlier today i was playing online. i stopped at about 730pm.
at about 9, i tried to open the game and i get a message that says:

"C;\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\
Binaries\WarGame-G4WLive.exe: You cannot run the
game with modified executable code. Please reinstall the game."

so i reinstall and i still get the same message. i read on another
forum that you have to change the date to 24 hours backwards
and it will work. i did that and it worked. connected to live, got
the new update, installed, thought the problem was fixed so i
change my cpu time and date to the present and tried to open
gears, but NO! got the same message!:mad:

anyone know how to fix this without having to change my cpu
date to to tuesday january 27 every time i want to play gears?

no u have to set your clock back a few days to play no matter what and set it back when ur done playing, that's what I've been doing, I'm sure they will update this problem in the future all we can do is wait and be patient.

I reinstalled it like 3 times changed the date still doesnt start this sux

Make sure you also have the latest patch.

well i have to say im quite annoyed by this after reinstalling the game for the fifth time i decided to hit the forums to find all i need do is change my system time

this is a joke why is it basicly telling me that i got an illegal copy of the game ?

here comes the best bit try ring technical support and they dont no nothing about the matter

Well i've noticed no one cares about Gears 2 on PC at this time.
But I feel ya I have the same issue with Gears it sucks and I hope Epic fixes quickly then releases Gears 2.
Or maybe release Gears 2 as a expansion that has the patch fix for Gears 1:)
