Some things in GOW2 are a serious disappointment..how can you go from a great game GOW1 to this garbage? Now to the point the shotgun now GOW1 shotgun was the truth and besides the glitches and stuff everything else is great. GOW2 comes out and the shotgun is garbage. Then i found the one thing that made the shotgun worth using..the superman. now the superman was a great way to shotgun for people who didnt sit and just walk around aiming their shotty..it actually takes skill to use the superman and shotgun at the same time..these updates fixed the shotgun to the point were you can shotgun like GOW1 but then they take the superman away? ( for those who dont know what the superman is it is when your running you can shoot your shotty and jump quickly after in any direction.) If anyone else out there agrees with me on the shotty and them taking the superman out then write the creators and let them now like i will be doing

There might be other guns, but in gears the hammerburst or lancer is pretty useless for killing at a distance. The majority of the time if they are anywhere near cover they can escape and recuperate.

The lancer and HB are really useful for people who are in the open. supporting a teammate in a shotgun battle, weakening someone to finish them off with the SG or suppressing a sniper or torque.

But they aren't effective killing weapons

I would argue that point. 4 shots to the head will down someone and a quick 3 to the torso will kill. If you are close to cover, you deserve to get away, but if you are a normal shotgun player, you will probably try to shotgun me, and in order to attack me, you must clear the gap between us. During that time, i will kill you with my hammer burst. Pistol is also another alternative weapon which is pretty good. Lancer on the other hand, unless the opponent is stupid should never down, unless it is a multi-lancer attack on that person.

gears1 was actually a mistake personally i loved it and the wallboucning but truth is gears2 is the true gears besides the glitches and the superman loved it btw just 2 brag ive gotten 1 superman with snipe 2 spidermans with torque and 3 supermans with torque :)

This is one of the mistake that the creator made this wat make the game so much better then other the wall bouncing and the superman spiderman batman and aquaman is just trick's that u learn in the game and most people not know ask anyone and they will tell until today there will tell u since the 'superman killer patch' people are not use too it the creation focus and how the stop from people too run and shoot but in real live u can jump and shoot u can run and shoot at the same time and that not on the game and no one complains about that cuz that the way that the creator thought about right! well that y if u check the status the people that GOW2 and now those same people are playing GOW1 more cuz of that im not going too lie i still play the game and found way too still do it but it take fun out when someone is chainshawing ur friend and he screaming on ur hear telling too kill him and u run and shoot him but now u have stop take three step then ur are able too shoot that is wack and garbage evrything on the patch was great but that should be rolled back when the new updates come out

your all way off on your complaints Gears 1 could easily be played with all Lancers if you worked well as a team, you could knock off shotgun only users with no problem. The game was very well balanced the problem with Gears 2 is the two piece, and the chainsaw that no longer gets stunned. I don't see how you can defend either of those two issues, i thought and still think that GOW 1 is the best online shooter I've ever played so maybe my expectations were to high but GOW 2 is being returned today i cant play such a broken game any longer the two piece is what GOW 2 is gonna be remembered for. Thanks Cliffy B for taking your product that your consumers loved and turning it into something you wanted i hope its worth as you watch GOW2 fall off the most played Live game a little more each day

WTF gears 1 was a mistake??? you are an idiot how can you say that ,gears 1 blows gears 2 out of the water gears 2 is no comparison your on some crack the sniper is better in gears 1 the shotty is better the torx bow took skill to use in gears 1,the game play is 2 times faster than gears 2 and by the way gears 1 is the true gears you piece of sh*t, its the game that changed online gaming its what put gears on the map dont ever compare or diss gears 1!!!!!!!!

actually they are extremely useful from afar. the hammerburst can easily down and kill an enemy with 1/2clip and if its execution, aim for the head when there down.

Gears 1 is the real true Gears it just morphed into something Cliffy B couldnt hang with so he changed it he took something that his consumers had loved and basically created and changed it to fit what he thought it should be and guess what lol it didnt work because now its just a ****en melee feast congrats Cliffy B you made a game that no longer takes skill and turned off a large majority of your consumers

im not gona lie gow1 took so much skill to play n win. i use to get pissed off cuz how gud sum peps were. now any1 can 2 pc,smoke kill,using nades as land mines, chainsaw while hiding

The Hammerburst in Gears 1 actually freaking rocked if you were smart with it. I would sometimes just switch it out and win 1v4 fights with that little baby. People would get so pissed with it.

From my experience the Lancer and HB it does not matter where you hit the player in the head or foot it does the same damage and makes no sense. There should be some type of hit box, ie headshots do more damage than the big toe etc.

Actually the superman is when you shoot someone head off while they are in mid roll, but retards made it into a lame shoot and jump away.
