Why did Epic take a step backwards from great multiplayer games like COD and Halo 3 and not implement some kind of host migration? Having everyone get booted because the host quit should be a thing of the past, yet it still happens in about half of the games I play.

Also, removing the option to quit from the pause menu is the biggest cop-out I've ever seen. Rather than try to come up with legitimate ways to penalize quitters or encourage people to finish the game, they just removed the quit option. Well, people still quit as much as before, even though it's an annoying process. Fix your lag issues, all your awful glitches and exploits, and then when it's a game with no legitimate reason to quit, remove the option. But until that happens, let me quit out of a game if I have to.

I am thankful for the awesome Title Update 2 you guys just probably worked so hard to produce, but there is one more issue that I think should be looked at (and I'm sure it already is). Gears 1 was amazing in the multiplayer, and Gears 2 adds a lot of great new features; however, the lag is worse, host advantage is worse, and it is making me and a lot of my buddies too frustrated to play. We end up going back to Gears 1. Epic has the best engineers and techs working there, so I know you guys can fix this! Please fix the lag issues!!!!

I see what you mean, but technically only Halo has this host migration, the COD one is a joke, it still ends the game and the only reason everyone gets to stay together is that the lobbies don't close when games end.

It seems only Bungie have the tech to do this.
