do so many players pick up _____ weapon when they don't know how to use it?
It's not even about keeping it from the other team.
With the way gears is only having 1 sniper(or torque)
in every map (other than GL),
and spawn priority being random,
players consistently pick up the same weapon every round and strip it from someone else that does know how to use it.
Now some would think how else would I practice?
Use bots.
Anyone else feel this way? Feedback welcome

You'd think by now with all of M$'s promotions everyone would have a mic by now, let alone use it; too afraid to talk to someone you'll probably never meet..

Its a vicious cycle. If there's no one to talk to, you don't talk, and then NOBODY wants to talk. What are you supposed to say in a game when you are the only one with a headset?
It especially bothers me in Horde mode.

I partly understand where you’re coming from. But unfortunately everyone and anyone have the right to use what weapon they like, even if they are rubbish with it. Whereas if you play with a specific team on a regular basis you can delegate certain weapons to each team member, by doing this you can avoid the issue. But unfortunately whilst playing with random people, it’s whoever gets there first.

On the other end of the spectrum, I hate it when I pick up torque bow (which I am good with by the way) and some guy has a little tantrum because I got there first and chases me around chainsawing and standing in my way.

It cracks me up when I pick up snipe and the guy behind me decides to punch me endlessly, that is of course until he realizes that my first trigger pull ended up being a headshot. Then he decides to go do something. Similar thing happened to a buddy of mine. He grabbed snipe on Blood Drive and the guy behind him started to go on a tirade about noobs taking his weapons. My buddy's first trigger pull was a headshot on a guy down by the scorcher spawn.
I know I get grabby with snipe, but that's it. I'll get a little miffed if I don't get the weapon, but I don't go on a damn tirade and start blocking the guy's vision if I don't get it. Moreover, I only get really annoyed if the guy who nabbed the rifle doesn't even hit anyone for an assist to a teammate in need, let alone headshots.
Yes, everyone has a right to the weapons. But seriously, this is all ranked. If you can't hit anything with the weapons (especially the Boomshot; wow, there are some fails that pick that thing up) then cover one of your teammtes while he picks it up. Team effort people. If you pick up a weapon you suck with, you're effectively removing that power weapon from the map and at the same time removing yourself from the game until you switch weapons. If you pick up snipe and can't hit the broad side of a barn, you've removed your team's capability for support and made the game temporarily 4v5 at the beginning of the round. Be considerate. I almost always give up the torque because I know I only average between 0-3 kills with it. Others are much better with it.

i ran for boomshot on river with a guy. He picked it up and fired two at a guy standing at spwan, yh, two! Anyway later on that round, he died and i picked it up. I was last guy against 4 people. I ran to one of the barns. Thier whole other team were in the barn opposite so i thought i would try to get one across the map. I picked up a triple, bet that guy felt like a idiot!
