gow stops working

i instaled gears of war on laptop
it runs and when i start playing in few seconds it crashes
i have HP pavilion
3g of ram
core 2 duo 2.50
nvidia 8400gs
i think this more then enough

Try using the startup.exe from the Gears of War directory.
