A. Carmine or B. Carmine???

I cant really see the difference between the two carmines so why do they have them both as characters in multiplayer??

Because a lot of people, a lot of people requested Anthony back for two. I do, personally, wish they had some kind of difference in lines, but it's cool either way. I'm usually Benjamin when I play.

They have different helmets for sure and maybe different armor but they have the same lines I think.

I like the 3rd Gear helmet, which i'm guessing will be Clay Carmine's helmet, but there really is no difference in their Voice or anything else really... They actually removed some of Anthony's voice from gears 1 to 2 :\.

Yeah but the "Rook" made it further then the "experinced" one. I mean the ememies were a lot more diversed then what they fought in Gears 1. But mabey, just mabey, it was Kim's fault, you know? he never told Carmine to keep his head down, while Marcus always yells sniper, whenever there is one preseant!

I checked by comparing the two in a private match, the armor is exactly the same except for the helmets.

Both are voiced by the same actor.

In multi-player as bots A and B will often stick togeather and support each other. Ben will often go for the sniper weapons like a longshot or bollok pistol. Anthony often just sticks with his lancer or hammerburst.

Both characters as bots will tend to rush out to help with revivals, although Ben is alittle more active.

In campaign Anthony pretty much just does support work. Ben is actually the most (in my opinion) usefull AI as he tends to distact the enemy and draw fire and is usually on the spot to revive downed members of the team which means you can hold your postion.

Ben also has a more developed and fan-appealing character personality and many fans liked him, Anthony really didn't develop much before he was killed.

Ben is available in multiplayer right away, Anthony if you've played Gears of War 1 and I think for him it's completing Act 1 on any difficulty or something he unlocks. You can also use Kim and Raam from Gears of War 1 if you've unlocked achievments.

ive also wondered this cos they have very similiar outfits and they're voices are both voiced by the same guy. So there is not much difference to them. But to pick one out of them, i would go for B Carmine cos he is a new guy and ive played the crap out of anthony in gears 1

I liked A. Carmine better cause he didn't make rookie mistakes like when Ben underthrows the nade during training, Anthony never made mistakes like that, only mistake he made was his last one...getting capped in the dome by that sniper. But i liked Ben too cause he tried to bust out the heroics right before the worm swallowed him, so idk its a toss up both are cool but i'd have to go with Anthony just cause i played as him so much in gow 1.

Going for Anthony because i knew Benjamin was biting the dust when he didn't get in the chopper and when he was lying on the floor i knew he'd fall in! Then we got eaten up so i was like maybe he's ok then marcus said keep a look out for him and you rarely only have more than 4 people in the squad so then i knew Ben was in for it and unfortunately yes as he was being digested by those little crawlers. People like the carmines so much because they are funny and likeable and i hate when they die. Anthony head.

I preferred Anthony. In Multiplayer in GoW1, i'd love hearing him yell out "Ohh Yeah... suck it! Suck it!!" and the like... so Gung-ho.

I'd have to say that I like Ben a lot more than Anthony. I didn't really develope any
like for Anthony. All I knew was that he was going to be locust fodder sometime into the game.

Anthony had one of the best deaths of any character in Gears. Maria had the most emotionally impacting death, while Tai had the second most disturbing death (another one Maria wins), Ben had a great one.... but how do you compare to getting shot out of nowhere for shock value?

Actually, Anthony had a fairly realistic death. Chances are, if you die from a bullet in a modern war, it's going to be a sniper round.

Benjamin, though... Benjamin is my favorite.

Yeah I prefer Ben. He definitely had some heroic qualities about him, even if he was a bit naive etc.
Epic kinda made Anthony seem a bit dim in the first game to be honest. But I like playing as him in multiplayer. If he'd had as many lines as Ben then I guess maybe he'd be cooler.

I have no idea anymore, used to be Ben, but I'm liking Anthony's gung ho attitude and helmet more and more these days.
