Big GoW PC Problem !!!

Hello all!,

I bought GoW for windows almost as soon as it came out and I popped it in and it ran fine. So now about a year or so later I try to start the game after a reformat of my hard drive, and after i installed the game. I click the icon and i dont get a splash screen, i get 2 internet explorer windows both trying to go to this adress:"www.zief.pl\iraq.jpg" I dont recomend going to it because i tried and it even crashed safari on my ipod..... anyway what i am asking is how do I fix this and has anyone else had this sort of problem, and I did try to reinstall, it opens fine one time then after a reboot, the same problem

You have a virus. I recommend using Spybot - Search and Destroy, Malwarebytes, and the free online scanner at www.bitdefender.com or http://safety.live.com. Try it again after that.

yeah sounds like it, spybot-malware anti malware and avira should clean you system up some. A registry cleaning may help too.

I know i had or have a virus, i should have said that (win32:virtob) but i DLed a program from AVG to get rid of it but the problem persisted....so what I did was I spent 1 entire day trying to fix it, and I finally got it to run :)
