How does Win/Loss really work with wingman?

So wingman has 5 teams. If you get 2nd place, it goes down as a loss in the web stats.

Shouldn't this count as 3 wins and 1 loss? Afterall you beat 3 other teams. Does anyone know how wingman mode win/loss plays into rankings?

Winning wingman games seems to rank you up faster. Your theory would make sense as far as the rank system goes, I've ranked up by coming in 2nd in wingman games.

I have also ranked up coming second in a wingman game but i believe that your K/D stats have to be good for that game
