Really, how do people get so good at shotgunning people? I don't get it how People can charge in a straight line and 1 Blast get a kill

Well, they wouldn't be able to do that if they were hit by a stream of lancer/HB bullets. Depending on latency, anyone can be good at shotgunning. I was host last night in a public game and I was unstoppable. Next game there was a bit of lag and only 4 of my 12 kills were from the shotgun via 2-piece.

Yes, host advantage is significant, but that doesn't mean you can't be a blind fire god if you're not the host.

Unless we're talking about Gears of War 2, where instead of blind-firing, holding down the left trigger works best. Due to the blind fire shotgun glitch, it's the only practical way to kill people; you should only blind fire if you're near or are the host.

How do you tell who the host is? that would be useful.

One easy way is to see the blood. Host always looses more blood. One way to get good is aim for the shoulders. You're likely to down them or get a headshot. Taught myself that.

How do you tell who the host is? that would be useful. In Gears of War 2, the moment the round starts, take out your shotgun and blind fire. If it fires at the ground in front of your foot instead of the direction you're aiming at, then neither you nor one of your nearby team mates is the host.

its right what they say you have to aim most of the time before you shoot but that is still hit and miss ,i shot someone standing still 4 time most was good hits not clips he never went but he shot me 2 times and i went down. you got to keep duckin and diving.most of my kills have been with the frekin chainsaw and i am now a fully piad up member of the noob club

Never roll in a shotgun battle unless from the side -- it's so easy to aim on someone who does this. Strafe and aim after they shoot so they don't get an easy kill on you when you stand still aiming.

Wall bounce because you can temporarily blindfire when on a wall. The best one is, jump to an adjacent wall and shoot -- it'll go straight into your opponent in front of you.

If your in a party of 5, check the left side of the screen before the matchmaking starts, if it says connecting to match, then the party leader doesn't have host, if it starts without saying that then the party leader has host.
