View Full Version : Looking for some MSUC tips

I have been working in the UT3 Editor for about a month. Recently I've been starting to look into the MSUC and have a few questions about the Deathmatch/CTF category.

Since there is a Best Graphics category, how much are you being judged on art compared to overall gameplay? I know it is probably mostly judged based on gameplay but I'm wondering how much the graphics and art has in the category. To go along with that topic... how much will the use of the given assets instead of custom made assets have on the judges?

Another question I have is based on the entire MSUC. I'm just looking for a little bit help understanding the phases and what the really mean. I have noticed that there are 4 phases and a final phase that is restricted. Do the phases restart after the final phase? Roughly how long is each phase? Also was there a MSUC before UT3?
