Hello,
I just reformatted my computer a few weeks ago, and when I went to reinstall Gears of War, it told me that the msi installer file could not be verified or located. I checked for some answers on Google and I am reading that this is due to the disc being damaged. The disc is not in bad shape by any means, and I already tried polishing it up but to no avail.
Is there any way I can mail in my disc for a new one? I bought it on release day from a Walmart, so I doubt they will help me, so I figured maybe someone from Epic or Microsoft could point me in the right direction. I'd rather not buy another copy, as I have all the little documents and papers still in the box with my CD key. If there is a small fee for disc replacement, I don't mind... as long as I do not have to purchase another copy.
