EPIC: New Maps / Old Gears

epic why don't you release the new maps for gears of war 1? cliffy has stated how he wants gears of war to be played by the way he has made the 2nd game but not everyone wants to play that way. for the fans that want to play gears 1 why not release new content for it too? whats it matter you get your money either way? how hard would it be to make the new maps compatible with the first gears, or even the gears of war pc maps for that matter. that would be 7 new maps right there for gears of war 1, id pay 1600 points for that.

you should care about your fanbase and people that enjoy both styles of the game. keep your gears 2 the way you want it and let the players decide which to play. gears of war 1 and 2 would both be on the top 10 played list if you did this and you would sell a hell of a lot more map packs.

hell yea i wish they made new maps for gow i would rather pay for gears 1 maps than gears 2 maps.

i didnt vote , but i would like to say this , they need to fix the horrendous matchmaking and make it like the one on Gears of War 1 ,the matchmaking in Gears 1 is great , all it needed was being able to invite friends to ranked games, being able to rematch and being able to change map and gametype without closing the lobby. with that Gears 2 multiplayer would have been perfect , but no they always have to ruin it on the sequel.
