So, as some of you know, the Gears of War comic book series recently started, on Oct 8th I believe. Unfortunately, I didn't out that there was a comic series coming out until just a few days ago. Therefore, I'm behind. So I have a question: if I subscribe now to the Gears of War comic series through the this site, when the next issue comes out, will they send me all the issues I've missed so far and the current one? Or will they only send me the issue they're currently on and I'll have to order the issues I missed individually?
It costs $30 to subscribe for a year. If I do subscribe and they only give me the issue they're currently on and not the ones I missed, do I still pay full price? Have I missed my chance because the first few issues have come out? If you can answer any of these questions, it'd be greatly appreciated.

The comic is a 6 issue miniseries and they're 3.99 each. That'll only come to like $24, and most comic shops offer a discount that's roughly the amount (often more) than sales tax on new issues.
And when it comes to comics, delays are a real issue. If the subscription is for a year, even though the book is only 6 issues and already on issue 2, it's pretty possible your subscription may run out before the book is even finished.
Plus comics are sometimes damaged in the mail and they always arrive weeks later than the comic is released.
I'd avoid a subscription completely and try to find a comic shop in your area.

I'd say it's very likely any place that sells comics would have it, as issue 1 was the highest selling single comic of 2008.
Otherwise, I'd email the subscription service. I'd say they would not provide the 2 that are already released and would still charge the full amount.
With comics, issues selling out are also a reality. Because of this I doubt they would make it policy to provide the issues that are already released (though Gears 1 and 2 did not sell out that I know of, I still doubt they'd do it).

Well, that sucks. Subscribing is inconvient and the only comic shop in my area doesn't seem to have any Gears of War issues. Why didn't I find out about this series just a few weeks earlier?
