flashback maps on another gamertag???

in my family, we have two xbox: one we bought two years ago that got the RROD. while he was repairing, we bought the new xbox elite and we played on it ever since then. when we got the other one back from repair, we put it in his box. here's my problem: i share my gamertag with another family member who is a rock band 2 singer. when it comes to who is going to play on the xbox, there is almost always an arguement about it and we are tired of it. so, we are going to buy another TV to put in my room so I can play on the old xbox with the internet connection that is on my computer right now. I am going to create another gamertag because the only stuff I bought for my games are the maps for Halo 3 and the total value of the songs we bought for rock band 2 is far greater than the price for the maps.

link to gears 2: I redeemed the code for the 5 free maps on the xbox elite. I want to know if there is a way to download those maps on my old xbox with my new gamertag (or if someone generous has a spare code). I somewhat payed for these maps and I don't really understand why we can't download it for free on the marketplace (if they are free with the game, they should be free on the marketplace since you need the game to play them)

I am also an xbox live user that bought gears 2 THE DAY IT CAME OUT and immediately entered the flashback pack on my 20 gig HDD. when the new OS came out i found that you could DL games to the HDD so i went out and spent a ridiculous 225$ on a measly 60 gig HDD and gave away my old harddrive, only to find out that my code is no longer valid and im SOL. If i can have my code redeemed back into my tag ASAP so i can punch in that mappack that would be greatly appreciated.
