I'm sure many of you guys have seen this: Sometimes in multiplayer, a tagged grenade will explode with no sound, and cause no damage to the person. Sometimes you can tag a grenade on the wall and have someone literally roll/walk straight into it, and the blast will act like a dud in a way, and do no damage and make no sound. What causes this? Glitch, lag?

Honestly Have not seen this either. I use to have a problem with the torque bow in the first game where I would stick someone and it would not blow up. I believe that was caused from packet loss going from client to host. So maybe you are seeing the same thing.

Don't really know, but I always see Skorge managing to escape death when setting off a grenade, and it always seems to be Skorge when smoke grenades send someone flying

I got tagged once and the grenade didn't go off.

Its due to them being improperly stored by just being left lying around anywhere.

I've always thought it was to do with the grenade model you throw colliding with you or teammates server-side who are clear of it's path on your screen, giving two completly different locations for the blast. (since you never see grenades updating after hitting teammates you know are in the way server-side)

The grenads have short term memory loss, and forget they need to blow up.

Make sure the nades are kept at room temperature.

Hm ive only seen this by throwing the nade. Sometimes i will throw it and the person will be right on it and not even die. But if i throw a 2nd nade on them they will. Weird...

I seen wall tags just blow up with know one near near them, But its cause the original tagger of that frag has just tagged a 3rd nade.(noob)
You can only plant two tags per player planting any more than two per player will cause you other tags to explode.
