I just had a game so laggy,it was FUN.

Right this is the most laggy game EVER. You know when you accidently enter a game on gears one that had red ping, well times that by 10!

It was blood drive guardian, i was the leader. Turned round to see all my team standing still, i thought this was odd oh well i said. Then they all started sliding around the room, it was so funny. Then i started to move and i was in one place then another. At one point i jumped from the boltok spawn to the sniper!

Then one of their carmines started to chase me, but he was looking at the ceiling and shooting, then he wandered off into that little room on spawn, it looked like he followed me in there, I was actaully pissing myslef by this point. Then hoffman and carmine where hurting me and i went in to death cam, but it was like my cam had got stunned by a smoke and was rolling away!

Then i got up again for some crazy reason and hoffman was down but he was up high like on the roof!!!!, Then everyone my team started leaving and they were all just falling over haha

I had a game once where the lag was so bad, around 5 to 6 seconds.... i counted it as i shot bullets into a wall.

Its just crazy. I just quit, what else was i supposed to do? Try and kill someone when they had already killed me?

Thing is tho everyone was sliding around the place.


One thing I find REALLY annoying is that even when you a have a slightly laggy game on gears 2 rodie running is never smooth, its always kinda jolty and sliding.

LOL! Exactly right. If you are any good, you will learn to adapt and account for 20-30 second lag and know to lead your shots. If they are standing at boltok spawn, you have to start shooting at the sniper spawn. Adapt!

All of my games are like that. =( I use satellite, because broadband isn't "in my area", which is ****. Anyway, every few months I'll try one of those free Gold trials, to see if performance has improved. Guess what? Nope.

My best kill ever was on Canals in GoW1, with a sniper. Me and this guy were aiming at each other across the map, and I fired above him as he crouched. When I ducked back down, he popped up and got headshotted like, seven seconds after I had fired. So...ridiculous. =)

if i get in a game that lags that bad, i just try to hide in a good spot, and pop out with the saw when someone is rounding the corner

that's one more kill towards seriously 2.0, and one more multeplayer round played towards the 1999 achvmnt lol
