I have been having connection issues during nearly all of my games for the past few days, and I am desperately trying to figure out how to fix it.
I realize that the game room is run by (somehow) selecting a "host", where this host is declared to have latency 0ms. Seeing as how I have no control over this process, I have been looking into ways to ensure that my internet connection is not responsible for any connectivity problems, thus (hopefully) improving my game experience.
One idea that came to mind, and one that has significantly improved many of my PC games, is port forwarding for my router. Does anyone out there know and info on port forwarding regarding xbox live or anything to do with the Epic servers, be there any?
thanks in advance.

PS: any other tips for reducing the chance of at-home latency problems with gears 2 are always welcome.
EDIT: if this post is in an inappropriate location, please let me know.
