I've only downloaded about 2 maps from the large selection available and don't really have time to sort through the rough to find the gems. I was wondering if any of you peeps can point out some favourites so I can DL them and chekkim out.
Don't worry 'bout the CBP maps as I already have them. :)
Thanx in advance!! :D

I'm an eye candy boiee but I do like funky layouts with good gameplay as well.
It's probably better to ask "What's your chosen top 3 maps from phase 2?"

DM-Plaza - awesome psychadelic 32 player TDM
War-Holywar - awesome psychadelic 64 player warfare
DM-Steamtemple if I had to pick a 3rd, or maybe DM-Worm
We've got pictures of all of them here: http://www.beyondunreal.com/articles/make-something-unreal-contest-ut3-phase-2/
We've even got them packaged (minus CBP maps) in big easy downloads.

Utopia had an awesome hook and background I thought...I just wished he had done more with the playfield itself, and had those dragons fire something off.

I got PM'd this by a helpful 'source'!
Hope this list it helps others who are in the same boat as me! :)
DM-Worm (great visuals/atmosphere, solid gameplay for the environment, keeper in my book)
DM-Starkstrom (released a while ago. Good visuals, atmosphere/gameplay. Simple layout, but it works. Keeper)
DM-Symmetry (good visuals/atmosphere, decent layout/gameplay (though being symetrical isn't a good thing in DM maps, worth checking out)
DM-Steam Temple (very good visuals/atmosphere, good gameplay, on the big side, but a keeper anyways)
DM-Marauder SE (good at everything, worth checking out)
DM-Tokara Falls (nice visuals/atmosphere, losely based on the original Tokara map, is a "low gravity" map that I mentioned to you, keeper for me)
DM-Cogworks (very good everything, a duel map, keeper)
DM-Forus SE-(very good visuals/atmosphere, good gameplay, keeper)
Any of the CBP3 maps
DM-Chizra (good visuals/atmosphere, better game play, keeper (same with DM-Subterrane)
DM-Bonescraper (HOLP map, very fun to play, keeper)
DM-Biosource (solid everything, remake of a Quake 3? map, worth checking out)
DM-Abandoned Subway (good on everthing, worth checking out)
DM-DG-Tempered (very good visuals/atmosphere, solid gameplay, fanboy of DGUnreal, keeper).
DM-Utopia (very good visuals/atmosphere, good gameplay, only thing I don't like is the music that plays ALL THE TIME!, worth checking out if that doesn't bother you).
DM-DragonLord (good map all around, worth checking out.
DM-Tempest 3 (good visuals/atmosphere though simple, but game play is solid, worth checking out)
DM-Project Genesis RC3 (Good-Very good throughout, realistic setting, worth checking out.)
DM-Windbook (good-very good all around, could be better, but good enough, worth checking out)

A beer for the helpful "source" :D
Thanks for mentioning my little map. And as for the DM-AudioRoyalleDeluxe, 2nd or 3rd phase doesn't matter. Still a great map to look at and to play on :)

VCTF-Traincrossing is really nice, fighting on moving boats and trains is quite fun I have to admit.
VCTF-Gasometer has nice buildings, I like the flag bases very much.
VCTF-Locks is simple but has a pretty good gameplay.
that's all fors short, you can read my full reviews for all vctf maps on the apoc clan froums (http://https://www.apoc.org/msgboard3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2242&p=14155#p14155). My spellink is awfull so don't expect the reviews to have no grammar errors or anything

:):)
I would like to plug my map Forgotten Tears... it has low LOD but the gameplay is pretty smooth and I like the mood i created with the heavy downpour of rain. I left out powerups and sniper positions....also the open spaces means you have to cover your own back. I know it won't win but I think it's one worth playing. Oh yeah...it works best if you max out your bot / player settings...its a pretty decent size map but the low LOD will allow you to max your settings with no problem. I am open to feedback.
Enjoy!

if your looking for eye candy?! check out my maps.. dont know if you like CTF, but I aim for graphical detail higher then that of epics as my personal opinion and visual taste.. pics are avalibal in sig links.

yea, personally I thought dreary was one of the sharpest looking ones, nice job...but all 3 of your maps in your sig look pretty similar in style, and to Epic's style, especially since one is a remake...ever considered doing something more open? Or a DM? Your level of polish would really translate well to another setup I think.
