Dude, the maps don't even have to be free. I'd gladly pay for some fresh Gears 1 action! Just so long as they throw in some new game modes. Wingman and King Of The Hill. ;)

As much as I disliked some things about Gears 1, mainly being the shotgun rushing, I'd take it over all the things wrong with Gears 2 at the moment.

Xbox Live feels like its going down the drain, NO ONE TALKS anymore becuase of that stupid 8 player chat system. Pisses me off, I needed help in a match a few times now, and no one would talk. NO ONE!

I did go back its so fun. Reminds me of what was so great about gears of war. Shotgun battles are so fun. I love gears 2 but if none of my friends are on it I'll gladly go back to teh first game.

I voted yes. Not because GOW1 was perfect, but because not only did the match making run better but the weapons werent as broken, for the most part the guns would actually fire where they were supposed to. And you wouldnt be knocked up against a wall for half a minute everytime a smoke nade went off remotely near you.
