Where is my quit option?

First I wait 15+ minutes to be connected to a game, then the game lags so bad that nobody can move except for one fellow. I'd quit but apparently the developers figured waiting an extra 15+ minutes for an unplayable game to end is a great idea, that or they think quitting to the dashboard once every 5 games is acceptable.

Then there are the games where my gun won't work, or I get stuck in a wall, or my teammates all quit. Good thing I can't just start a new game, gotta either sit it out or quit to dashboard and wait another 15+ minutes to try to find a new game.

Keep up the excellent work Epic, but next time just list these flaws on the back of the game case so I can just avoid buying buggy and/or poorly designed games.

Just say no to quit buttons. You little girls quit enough as it is. Laggy games happen. If you want to ask Epic for a feature that ends the game when the host is lagging (like they have in World at War) that would be cool tho.

quit button or not .people will still quit,i have played 50 - 60 games and only had 2 or 3 were the shot gun actually works .i am now a chiansaw noob running a people to saw

Well then again, not really. See in Gears 1, if someone quit, someone else could jump in. Disaster averted. Unlike 2, where one person quitting usually spells doom. Plus given that this version has bots, they could've simply had a bot jump in... but they didn't. (sigh)

In Gears 1 in a ranked match someone couldn't jump in after one quits. and in Gears 2 public i agree with the fact after one quit they should be replaced with an insane bot.

Ideas on this... At the pause menu during a Multiplayer match there should be an "Opt out because of:" Option followed by options of "Lag, Glitching, Emergency, Other". If the majority of your team agrees with you quitting (maybe a prompt asking to allow [whoever] to quit by simply selecting "Yes or NO" with the Select button (match pauses for everyone during this) or something). If the majority allows this on the players team who opted out for whatever reason, they are allowed to leave without reducing their Rank. If 1 player is left on a team they can leave without a vote, regardless.

Dropped players should always be replaced with Bots with a Difficulty level that reflects their Rank.

I don't know how difficult this would be to implement, but I think it could be helpful for many. Its doesn't solve many of the glaringly obvious flaws of the game, but it at least would put a bandage over some things until better fixes can be implemented.

Holy goodness this guy is a freaking genius. Seriously if I could combine my seed and his seed legally I would. EPIC are you reading this? PEOPLE QUIT ALL THE TIME EVEN WITHOUT A QUIT BUTTON. Putting in an actual "Quit" button would only make it umm...oh yeah...not so "gee I want to blow my brains out" annoying to quit. It would make it convenient for people who actually have a decent reason to leave.

Oh dear, my match is laggy beyond all comprehension. God himself could not fathom how laggy this match is, and yet...oh GREAT, I get to sit here for 5 whole unplayable matches while slowly thinking of ways to eat my own head off my body.

That is what I have to say to myself EVERY OTHER MATCH. How do you people sleep at night? You've made me resort to actually registering for this stupid site only to complain to what I hope are not deaf ears.
