If anyone watched the microsoft press conference where cliffy shows the gears of war level. Anyone noticed he got hit alot but I didn't see that skull anywhere in his screen. After watching the multiplayer vid it looked like you die alot faster.
So was cliffy b playing on god mode? :o!!

lol nah im kidding, he was probably just playing on some kind of cheat mode so he didn't die in the middle of his presentation, cause if he died it would be a bit embarrising.

nah, I don't really think that there was some cheat mode activated, but I've not yet seen the multiplayer video

I'm pretty sure most presnetations have cheats on, it would make sense.... except for the RIIIIIIIDGE RACER!!! guy cause he still couldn't drive haha

Heh, ya it makes sense that cheats are on. Imagine dieng while trying to show off the chainsaw.

He selected easy on one of the stage demo's :) At the Microsoft Press comference no one died in their demos because they made it basicly impossible to die. Also did you see how much ammo he had! :)

yea. it was made as a concept. They basically said heres what we think , its going to be like this and expect something like this.

Yeah I believe not only is it the first level of play but I really do think he chose easy. But you never know he could used his god mode. :)

Actually he didn't have infinite ammo selected, he did have to run and pickup ammo during the two presentations I saw. He would rodie run to an area that had ammo pickups.

Also remember there are two paths in the first level. One training area for newbies and one for the more advanced players who want to jump right into the fighting.

As far as health, I'm pretty sure they had a god-mode or similar turned on just to make the game easier to present. The AI wasn't too far advanced at this point too, you can see many opportunities they missed to deal out major damage on Cliffy. Or they may have just had really bad aim.
