how ot save gow

i've just bought gow pc, took me ages for me to even get it to work. My computers way over the minimum system requirements but now the damn thing wont save with out logging onto live and i dont want to join live. I've been searching the web trying to find a solution. ive tried to back up my saves but that dont work, one website even siad to delete the save file but it didnt work. ijust cant figue it out.

if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated

just create a new gamer profile.
under gamer profiles
new gamer profile
enter your name

then you have some options:
join live for free bla die bla " do not choose this one than"
instead choose done

and there you have an acount.
This will be needed for the gamesaves

I have a gamertag on xbox 360 can i use that one to?, i cannot open up the gamerprofile tab either :S i've installed the latest update of games for windows live run windows update, still nothing working :S

Yes, You can use Your gamertag but I don't know why You're not able to do that....maybe You should reinstall the game? Or maybe You're typing wrong password or something? Make sure that's everything is ok with Your pass and gamertag. Hmmm....as far as I remember, You should only type Your e-mail and password, not gamertag.
