Cannot Resume Campaign

I'm having serious issues resuming my campaign saves. Everything was fine when I was playing this morning. Now, when I hit the A button to resume the campaign, I hear the sound effect that a button press took place but the screen doesn't change. I still see the menu where the three campaign save slots are. I can't even start a new campaign. It still won't leave the screen where the slots are. Anyone else observing the same issue?

I'm also having trouble joining Co-op campaigns. Same problem. I tell it to start finding me a game but it never does. it never leaves the screen where the co-op menu us.

just happened to me, and i cant say i am happy about it. someone needs to fix this.

Here's how I fixed it. Hope it works for you. I signed out of Xbox Live, signed back in and started up the game. It worked after that.

I posted this in the main GOW2 thread. I have the same issue you do, and can get no answer. Your sign out fix does not work for me.

Do you have the game installed to your hard drive?
