Hi, I've completed the whole game (GOW 1) in co-op mode at hardcore, and I just can't unlock the Insane mode. In my achievements, I see all 5 acts completed at both casual and hardcore, yet the insane mode button stays grey'ed out. I tried going straight to last level using the "open sp_tyro_p" option, finished the game from that point, and it still doesn't finish.
I fear it was because we lost all our saves during Act 5 (thanks to one of the MANY bugs still left in this damn game, we had to start that Act from the beginning), but it's not really tempting to start all over again at an easy difficulty *hoping* that will fix the problem. And I can't do it alone because my game crashes everytime I reach the end of the first level (the big bug coming out of the ground freaks my computer for some reason) when I play in single player. In co-op mode, I got passed that point without a problem (though it did crash consistently at the wretches in the train at the end, and I had to pass that part single player before inviting my friend back in the game......... did I say this game is full of bugs?! and I'm not talking about the ones we need to kill........).
This damn game is full of bugs and yes I've installed the latest patch.
So, anyone has had this problem before, where he couldn't unlock the Insane mode? If so, what is the solution? I went through the whole forums and didn't see anything related to this. And of course, I didn't find any way to reach Epic Games directly to ask them about it.....
