So I am an avid Gears of War fan and I have been collecting Gears merchandise and collectibles for a while now, and I'm wondering what everyone else has. (This is for true Gears fans, if you think it's lame that I have this stuff then GTFO.)

I also have GoW 1 & 2 Collectors editions with trimmings (both golden guns and comic from gamestop). And I have the head shot drone on order that one looks wicked! Plus Cog tags! Do you know what the difference is between the replica lancers that entails such a huge price difference?

From what I can see the Amazon one looks to be more accurate except for the blood spatter which the Triforce one looks more authentic with, yet blood spatter is not worth the $810 difference.

I work for Triforce, the difference is that the Triforce one will me more realistic and in game accurate, so far the one that is being show is just a prototype, the final one will sport metal, LEDS, etc....then again that is what I hear :)
Triforce will be offering more Gears collectibles in the near future as well.!

Yeah the Triforce one is metal and more realistic hence the $1,000 price tag. The Amazon one from NECA is plastic, but only has a $60 price tag (it says $130 but it comes with Gears 2 as well).

As far as pictures go I'll upload them to a photobucket say next weekend because right now I'm at college and don't have all my stuff with me. But I'll be home for Thanksgiving so I'll upload them then.

bag is from grindstore, buut i looked on the website of others and it's the same i think :S

Haha a Zune 14 day pass, a OneCare pen, a Zune t shirt, a Microsoft t shirt, and a copy of Gears 2 and Halo 3. Not too bad for college tournament. Basically bragging rights because there were these two kids talking crap at the beginning yelling that they were going to destroy everyone and my teammate and I were down 10 to 2 in the second round, came back wiped out everyone in the game. Last round killed those two kids right off the bat in a battle and won the match to move to finals. It was intensely satisfying haha I hate those guys.

I have ideas to start building COG armor for next Halloween, though I'm a big guy and I need to think of a way to make it look less ridiculous on me. Don't want to look like that fat Stormtrooper you see at most conventions...

Nice dude you should upload pics of the stand.Thanks man. Right now, it's about as simple as you can get. I'm using two leftover Halloween styrofoam skulls from Wal-Mart. The skulls are a little small but they work well. The chainsaw is cutting into one, which is holding the front steady, and the butt of the gun is resting firmly on another skull.
Eventually I'm going to cut the skulls to look more like small Locust skulls and make a base out of rubble with a set of COG Tags draped across it.
I also plan to use another skull and some cardboard (and possibly bondo) to reproduce a large scale Gears logo to set behind the Lancer.
This may all be capped off by some fire effects with flickering LED's in the rubble/base.
This is what I HOPE to accomplish. It's all very affordable and can be pulled off pretty quickly and easily besides maybe the Gears logo replica.
I have no idea when I'll get it completed, though.

My girlfriend got me a Gears blanket from FYE tonight for Christmas.
I haven't had a chance to look at it closely at the store and she won't let me look at it now, but I think it's all black, has the cover from the first Gears blending in the corner, with a large crimson omen in the center.
I think it was around $20 and claims to be a full sized fleece blanket.

I got the Baird figure yesterday. Shotgun's nice plus it reloads. Now I need Cole, I have Marcus, Dom and Baird. He's a lot thinner than Marcus and Dom which was expected.
