Slow Matchmaking

it has come to my attention whilst playing gears of war 2 that there is a problem with the matchmaking. in the majority of cases it takes a very long time tofind a match however i have found that wingman is usully quite quick.

i hope that the guys at epic games can realese a title update to correct this problem.:cool::cool::cool:

sometimes its slow sometimes it is ok, hope they do fix it.

hope they do fix this, just look at the list of complaints in the other forums. Takes me 5 -15 mins to get a game. Still no player matches like GOW1 please please fix

I agree the online would be perfection in my opinion if is wasn't for the broken matchmaking. (please fix)

Yup, I agree. Normally, when I get stuck in matchmaking for a while, I cancel and restart the matchmaking search, and it usually gets me a game fairly quick. However, it doesn't always work and it's still a pain to have to wait so long in between games. It would also be nice to continue playing for more than just five rounds with the same people, without having to invite them into a private game. A lot of times people won't join, and when some join, you can't party up more than 5 people for matchmaking. Though, I guess it wouldn't really matter too much if matchmaking were a lot quicker.

it's best if you have a 5 player party, or go it alone. I've noticed the immense wait trying to get a 5th player, or just completing a team in general.
