Gears 1 characters not unlocking

Does anyone else have this problem? I have all the achievements required for A.Carmine, Kim and RAAM, but i still can't select them, and they aren't checked in the war journal. I don't have an xbox live connection here. Any help would be appreciated.

Im having the same problem. Do you have to complete the campaign/ be online?

Same here. I haven't tried to go online with it yet, but I have a feeling that's what it is. Maybe some kind of update to enable the game to reconize the first one?

have the same problem here got the Gears 1 achievements and still no unlocked characters, haven't been able to go online , some idiot in the house decided to install the dashboard update without my permission , wish you could lock down updates with parental controls damn it.

On a side note, my bots can use those skins, although I'm not sure whether they are able to use them even if you've never played Gears 1 before.

I had this problem too, but once I went on Xbox live to play Gears of War 2 online, I unlocked them. I think you need to sign into Xbox Live to get them.

Ah, thanks man. Hope you can fix it without going on live though, or it means itll be a while before i unlock them..
