The continued search for Philly COG tags... fail?

Alright, I went all over today. I probably biked about eight or ten miles. The Rocky statue and Rittenhouse tags are accounted for.

But these are still missing:

39.949503, -75.146784 - Franklin Square

39.955865, -75.189713 - Drexel

I just came back from the one at Drexel for a second time today, this one is an odd one. Because it's all construction and there's no way to get inside. Plus they are working there every day, so they're constantly changing the landscape in there.

I also went underground to the train station underneath. As far as I know, there is no underground path that goes under the construction. I even asked one of the guys that works under there if there is someway to get over there. He said no.

I took some pictures, I was thinking maybe Six messed up the coords again? (No offence six! :) ) Either way, take a look for yourself:

As you can see, the construction site is blocked off for the whole block with a blue tarp and fence. There are a ton of cameras around.

Also, I and a few others from the boards went to Franklin Square and turned up empty handed. Enforcer was, again, on the phone with me for the entire time I've been searching. (Which has been for about seven hours now) Any ideas for any of these, guys? Any and All help is greatly appreciated! :D

That's actually very plausible. But the only problem with that is we've noticed that the coords are literally DEAD on. So if they are all placed by the same guy, they are probably all exactly where google maps is pointing.... So that means that the one tag will be in the middle of the track & field?

Hey guys, I was helping nismojoe last night at rittenhouse and 4th and walnut. Can't believe we missed that fountain one. We went to each location twice, once with flashlights and once without, i guessing the cogs don't reflect well since we we did everything short of putting our hands in the mouth of the fountain.

Anyway I went back to 4th and walnut by myself today since i stood guard while Nismojoe and another friend searched that area (it's gated between 5pm and 7am). The only place i can think of it being under series of brink and wood benches. The tops are wood with the base being a hollow brick structure with holes cut out at the bottom every 2 feet or so. I stuck my hand in each (yuck!) and then did a second check by taking a picture with the flash on in each hole, but no dice. If anyone wants a hand tonight in checking let me know, I live in the area.

Yea I doubt it, cuz it seems like the ones in Philly they made a point not to put it in plain view so some random person could see it and take it, they were pretty well hidden

I looked at both points for two hours each today, easily. They ain't there. Plus Franklin square is closed now, and you can't get into the construction site at drexel.

There's no point in going now.

Alright, but I seriously doubt that EPIC would condone this. I was talking to a guard today there and he was telling me that its illegal already for EPIC to put these things in national parks. If they did it, they did it without permission. So I don't think that EPIC would want thier fans breaking and entering on account of this.

What's so hard about waiting? No ones looking for it right now, and no ones gunna find it in the dark. Trust me.

I, myself, am going to wait until there is something solid to go on. Maybe something from six?

The dragon breaths smoke on occasion, or at least it did when they first put it in. So that would of been a bad place. And that is the main street Drexel students walk down to go back and forth from class. I passed it about a million times when I went there, so I'm pretty sure that one in particular was nabbed within hours of it being placed.

Yesterday morning my family and I looked EVERYWHERE for that thing. We even looked in the underground museum just in case they were very clever. I can't fathom where it could be. I'm guessing it was picked up by some random person who has no idea what it is. The bench is the obvious spot but I also looked at the awning, under the trash cans etc.

I'm not sure it was just some random person, b/c the cog tags came out friday night around 9ish, so the park was closed at that time...so im sure there were people there searching for it in the morning, im guessing either someone found it and hasn't contacted the forum about it or im sure that small area gets cleaned by the city since there's a museum underneath and it gets closed off at 5, so maybe a worker...I don't know if there's anyone to talk to there or someone in the museum and ask if any employee found the tag???

I talked to three different people there, and they all said that if they found it, they would ahve thrown it away. I even showed them what mine looked like...

It could be possible the coordinates got mixed up and hasn't changed them since he's out of the office, nothing has been updated on the twitter since friday night...lets just hope that is the case, just seems weird a tag would be placed by all that construction on the Drexel Campus, and placed into a park which closes at 5? and it was placed there afterwards??? who knows

Already did that. They sent me to the visitor place on 6th and market. they didn't have anything in their lost and found.

Yea trooper, I saw those coordinates too, its a pretty open area there... so I'm guessing if they were there, someone has already go them or some employee around the area snatched it up like you said in your video, otherwise maybe it was across the street or some **** like that

I think for the Drexel one your focusing your search too much on the obvious place. Try to search surrounding buildings or something similar.
