if the gamestop i preordered my LE from wasnt like 2000 ft away from my office id go. i got a T1 at the office so im gonna have my 360 setup and ready to go this way at around 11ish i can head over there and TRY to be in the front of the linethis way i can host a game within 20 minutes :)

i had a t1 at my old house that was provided by my job man that was great!!! now i dont need a full blown t1 so i have the 6meg cable connection.

goto speedtest.net and see what your connection to tokyo,japan is. ping,up/download.

A single T1 is only capable of 1.5mbps up and down. unless you had a bundled T1 connection you must have had something other than a T1

Fiber can be anywhere from 64k up to 20megs sometimes more depending on the limitations of the end equipment.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I'm back after going on a trip to 2 Best Buys, 1 Circuit City and 1 Gamestop. All in Miami, FL.

The first BB knew nothing of the promotion, and had zero information regarding the promotion. Next up I went to Circuit City and talked with the floor manager and he too had no idea about the promotion, and offered me tips to go other stores such as the Best Buys I went to. So I went to the second Best Buy and they did know of the promotion, but they haven't received anything yet, and they assured me that they would most likely hold them till the midnight launch and hold giveaways, but the employees were pretty confident in taking the COG tags themselves if they got them in :( .

I ended my search with the local GameStop, and the dude there knew exactly about the promotion, but he wasn't sure whether their store would get any COG tags, though he assured me that if they did get them that the people that preordered would get dibs on the COGs.

At the end of the day I got zero COGs, but I have some hope in my local Gamestop and the second Best Buy.

If there's one tip I can offer you guys, is to talk directly to the manager. The guys on the floor had zero ideas about the promotion and they would most likely not give em to you (unless they are wearing that elusive "pin").

So I might try again tomorrow at the second Best Buy to try my luck.

whats the address of the stores you went to? i figured that the stores that do get them will hold on until Nov. 7th and then if nobody comes in im sure they will keep it for themselves :(

dont waste your time guys!!!! i just found out that two of the local fort lauderdale gamestop stores got one cog tag a piece and both of the managers gave them to their friends. this whole thing is pointless since thats probably going to be the case at most of the stores, they will either keep them for themselves or give them to friends and it seems certain stores are only getting 1 tag each.

our best bet is to try and find a circut city and best buy and hope the employees arent gamers. i went to the ones just south of oakland park blvd, no luck i'll try them again on saturday just incase as i start calling the other ones. the best buy there the manager just got back 3 days ago (tues) and he didnt know anything, i could have gotten there before they got the package or sumtin. i will call them later to see.

not since i was there on saturday. i was thinking of going back on wednesday, i would call but it would be better to show up a read the persons body language so i can tell if they are tryin to B.S. me. i worked at a music club for 4 years one of the perks was learning how to read people.
