After jumping around from game-to-game; casual gaming for a month or so, I've decided to start a team, again.. A few of the regulars from the old team will be back. We are a group of adults whose numbers are growing almost daily. We play a lot of Gears 2 and almost all of us were GOW veterans who spent the better part of a year playing nothing but that. We've been doing rather well in public matchmaking and love the fact that people can't run & gun like the old game. Strategy is bigger role in this one and we have developed some pretty solid ones so far. Our website is located at www.hardcorpsgamerz.com and there you can sign up to be a part of our clan, only 16 members can be listed on our Gamebattles team and we only have a few slots left that we are leaving for proven team players. If you don't make the roster don't worry if your signed up in the clan management system found in the Clan Area of the website and actively participate on our forums then you will have your shot at being on a roster and possibly even leading a second GB clan.

We excel at Guardian and Execution and we get along in Warzone but we are fine tuning our strategies for other gametypes. I think it's so funny when people gripe about proximity abuse, and chainsaw abuse and how they should bring back player hosted games. On the first GOW people were whining about host advantage and they did away with it and those hosts with a stellar connection aren't the powners they used to be and they want their old way back. Cry baby cry, make your mother sigh because matchmaking is here to stay and the masses love the absence of host shotty. My only complaint in this one is that the shotgun doesn't stop the chainsaw from revving like it did in the original. Everything else seems to even punches which didn't used to so I've learned to work around it. The game is better with its strategic design and with all the new weapons out there on the battlefield host shotty wouldn't do you any good anyways.

To Epic and the team behind GOW2 thank you for making the game none of us expected and exceeding our hopes and dreams. As the leader of The Hard Corps I think I speak for my entire crew when I say your game sets the bar high for any game sequels out on the market and having played the competition they don't even come close to touching that bar.

The team has had numerous name changes since it started in 2006. All three members that currently belong to the clan have been with the team since it has started. 1. Maturity is a must. We would like members of the clan to 15 years or older but we would consider younger on a case by case basis. (13 is the lowest that we would go and you have to be somewhat mature for your age.
2. Be able to communicate consistently
3. Somewhat smart and have a good understanding of the game.
4. You can't be an individual, you have to believe in the Team concept.
5. Be willing to have fun and not get to anal about the game. (It is just a game)
6. Have a winning attitude
7. No racist allowed here. We all are different and we accept everyone.

Just come up with a clan name you want to go by, and find a free website host. They got several good free web site hosts out there such as Freewebs.com that will help people beginning out with websites, while they look plain and it's rather un-unique. I started out on the same system and it saves a lot of work and effort, but a good site will take weeks to put together properly and get everything functional like you want.
Afterwards figure out how you're gonna go about practicing, play some practice matches, and then find teams online to challenge. I'd personally recommend joining a site like GameBattles.com The whole site is dedicated to clan matches, and you'll have a massive amount of teams out there to compete against.

not really, it shouldn't take long at all. That's the easiest most mainstream site builder. :(

You could try hosting one on Wetpaint like i have mine, it's a wiki system.

No, ultimately everything is done just for fun. I'm not going to say you can't win for money, but it's extremely unlikely that you can count on winning, especially within a year or so, because everyone starts out at the bottom, but there's always tournaments for various games being held where millions play for rewards of various sizes.

Seeing how our clan was never properly announced here, i figured i'd take a chance to try and describe what our team is about.

The Wrathchildren is a team of gamers who are extremely dedicated to eachother, and trained to be the absolute best that they possibly can be. Each "child" is a unique member of the team, each with their own thoughts and opinions, each with equal say so in team matters. We are mature and well spoken, we don't bicker over losing a game, but appreciate and learn from the fight. Our essential core values that we all hold in common are teamwork, respect, practice, and competitive. We build our team's foundation on our strong belief in eachother, and don't blame eachother for making mistakes, we learn. improve, win, and lose together. Inorder to help build a sense of team within eachother we practice as frequently as we can, and through practice we improve our members abilities, and build morale. Most importantly we all love to win, we're all an extremely dedicated bunch of gamers, who just love the challenge of a match, and enjoy the pride that we get after playing a match, whether we win or lose. We know we gave the other team hell, and can leave feeling accomplished as a team who does everything the best of their abilites.
