For those of you in the Richmond, VA area, I am the VCU Microsoft Student Partner and will be holding a Gears 2 launch event and tournament courtesty of HP. It will be on November 14th in the Student Commons. I'm working on getting food and music, but please bring your Xbox 360 for a chance to win a free copy of Gears of War 2!

Believe me, I would love to do one in Holland!

However, what I can do is direct you to our site, student-partners.com (no www., enter it as you see it) and from there you can select the "Find a Student Partner" feature and there might be one or more in Holland as we have many all over the world!

Excellent! If you need directions or have further questions as the event draws near, please feel free to e-mail me at jwilberger@student-partners.com. I can also give you my name through e-mail so you can look me up on Facebook as I have created a Gears of War 2 Launch event group.

I'm looking into having Red Bull provide beverages, some friends providing live entertainment, and bring your Xbox for a chance to win a free copy of Gears 2!

I would definitely recommend going to student-partners.com and looking for either a Technical Rep. or Marketing Rep. at your school. I do know there are several MSP's in TN but I don't where in TN specifically. If you can't find one, e-mail me and I'll help you :)

Please note that the location has been changed to Play-N-Trade Games in Carytown, Richmond, VA. We will have 8 screens and Xboxes set up with just about everyone of them playing Gears of War 2.

Also, a Fallout 3 display, oversized display box of Gears of War 2, and a free regular copy of Gears of War 2 will be raffled off. Please be sure to come as there may be other surprises, like a raffling of a LIMITED edition of Gears of War 2!
