yea i can click on the all the guns the post it board the tv hell alot of thing i couldnt before...but its saying cog tag missing...all i did was delete everything i had exited out of the page and started over...the the game do the saving...i didnt i saved it myself and i think i messed it up...it will save all the icons into the icon link....but dammit it keeps saying im missing a cog tag..

1. Like the code that unlocks tha carmine picture, there is about 24 other codes thatll have to be entered. The flaw with this theory is, that even though you got the pic from the carmine code it didnt really unlock any new stuff, it just made them clickable.

2. You have to unlock the cog tag collector achievements in gears 2 in order to get them. The flaws with this theory is that lenny already got the pictures and gears 2 doesnt come out for another month

No no no. We already know that the COG TAG codes unlock clickable things which show new content. We need the tag codes to get the goodies. These images are just unlocked through clicking these various links - like little rewards to download ON TOP OF the exclusive content.

It also means that entering the code gives a non-essential image as a little "reward" and nothing more - if they never go online and post the code, nothing much is lost.

Lenny could you please read through the thread instead of posting random crap that's gonna confuse new people to the thread? First off, they are probably resin, not plastic. Secondly, they will not be given out with each copy - so far we have seen them being given away in a promotion on EuroGamer (1 tag), and at least one has been given away at "E For All"

If this is time latched, there might be a way around it. Trick the flash file into thinking it's a different date than it actually is.

So I think Epic Wants us to exclude the bold words from their next updates from another bigger word( or something else) and that will be another code to unlock..

im just wondering if there is a way to translate carmine into a csid code....or visa versa...i would like to know how they came up with the first code...

Well, i'll say this to let all people know, who don't know. If you pass the first code screen that doesn't mean the code is correct, all you have to do is fill the code and press enter and it lets you go by. I know this because I got bored and just pushed abunch of random keys really fast and it let me pass the first code screen lol.

As for the security screen, that's just a random pointless screen. All you have to do is put in the numbers and/or letters it shows in the small box. Just like how alot of sites use to prevent bots and spammers.

As for entering your name, I am unsure if it's just to enter your own name. Or if it's an actual specific name as for verifying the user.
