Well, I was going to go to the Assumption Park one yesterday, but there was a new user (who has since been silent) and others telling me people were going... So it's either a game of people say they're going and are not. Or people who went and not reporting it. Or, as stated, someone went and found nothing.

It's a 4 hour drive for me. Like I said, Team Reno did it, I can do it. But I don't want my efforts to be fruitless, if someone isn't following up on their part in keeping the board informed. (Cause it seems to be just a few people relaying information from others.)

No games... he went. I was on the phone with him for 2 hours during his quest. Just no luck. I posted about it this morning.

I got super lucky earlier today with very mild traffic over the bridge to the UW. At 5pm though it is going to be a nightmare. Its not to much further past where I found my COG. But traffic is going to really throw a wrench in it. If we have no word from porkfry by the close of business today I am headed that way but it will be closer to an hour to get to it with traffic rather than the 10 minutes it took me earlier.

Guys I have been away from the Cog-madness for a few days, that was me, and Nata, and a few others that were anxious for another Seattle cog. I just got the message on XBOX Live that Nata found the second UW one, and it sounds like it was at those damn pillars that I had spotted during the trek for the first one. Hmmm, I wonder if my mentioning them was the inspiration for the second tag to be placed there. Arrrrggh! Congrats though to Nata, I know he will cherish it.

Anyone know if anymore Seattle ones are expected here? The eastside perhaps would be nice. And, I might as well put the bug in someone's ear now....Dick's Drive-In in Lake City would be a nice spot, would give me reason to go there when I shouldn't. ;)

I just got home from the Troll and I scowered the location for about 45 minutes. Nothing. While I was there, I saw 4 or 5 different groups of tourists taking pictures with the Troll. My guess is someone else got it, if someone from the boards beat me to the punch.

However there was a rather crazy bum there that was roaming around under the bridge yelling and "rocking out" to music that wasn't there. He could have it, but I wasn't about to ask him.

Im telling you if it was out in the open I completely missed it. I looked under all the rocks, under the trolls hand, under the wheel well of the VW. On the thin ledges that were about eye level from the top of the trolls head that suppored the bridge above. I looked around the pipes that were coming won the bridge supports. I looked up on the bridge (both sides), and on the road. I looked under the large cement blocks that are infront of the Troll that have these little nooks under them, in addition to across the street around the other Bridge supports. I even looked up the trolls nose.

You can't play it on a normal xbox from a Torrent download though, it needs to be chipped.

I got arrested because a cop pulled me out of my car without saying he was an undercover cop so I resisted because i thought he was trying to car jack me lol. Fun stuff =o lol

alcatraz was found but not by anyone here, team showed up cog was gone

cords were released for detroit/canada (assumption park) cog was never found

cords released for university of washington today NataSS found it near 4 pillars

cords were released for another one near or under a freeway bridge in seattle natass and jugg is downthere looking for it now

The Alkatraz one is mia. Two people went out on the first available boat after the coords were posted and it was gone. It had to have been planted there on Monday so cleaning crew might have found it or some of the tourists who got there on earlier boats.

Then a cog appeared in Windsor ONT and a crew from the US headed up there since it was right across the border but the cog was not fund.

Today two appeared in Seattle. One back at University of Washington. The COG was hidden behind a theater there that had four pillars, it was behind one of the pillars. Natass found that within like 20 minutes.

Then the other one was north of seattle across the bridge on hwy 99. It looks like it's under the overpass where ther'es a troll looking statue. A crew of people went out there to find one and nothing was found, there were a few suspsicous homelss people in the area though.

I think that wraps it up.

nice thanks all for the update appreciate it. I'll be checking in and out because I have to study for a midterm I have tomorrow. It's ashame that the cogs are getting lost like this. Especially since the spots sound so interesting to look in. Im just glad this whole ordeal didn't keep me from a cog near me. I would be flipping out if it did lol. Hahaha on the bright side i have a jail nickname. They were calling me the hulk because the people in the cell didn't have my story straight and they thought I took out 2 cops bare handed haha.

Just got home from "Operation: Hobo Sweep". Because I got a very late start and traffic was a complete nightmare, I didn't have more than 15 minutes to search down at the Fremont Troll location. I didn't come equipped with my flashlight, and didn't hear or see Nata. I checked all around the troll and surrounding areas, but no such luck. Was not about to go up towards the very top of the underpass area as there were personal belongings, it was quite dark up there and heard someone go "Psssst, hey, come here, I got a cog tag in my pants, you want?". I passed. Ok, I made that part up.

Lots of tourists during the short time I was there, snapping photos and posing with the massive troll statue. My "guess" is if it was placed on it, someone random would have picked it up. I even checked the top of his head, and nothing. Also around the grounds, support beams, even in the bushes along the trail. Walked up the stairs leading to the highway above, nothing.

As soon as it was dark, the Kryll were out in force, so I stayed in what light I could find. Managed to fight them off and make it back to my car before the zombie hippies moved in.

I have a feeling this cog will turn out to be like the first UW one, that it was found and no one has been able to report it yet, but I may head back down there tomorrow if I have time. Problem is there is a constant flow of people flocking to the troll for photos, so it would be likely that it is gone.

No, we have two "floating" bridges that connect the Eastside to downtown Seattle or "west" side as I use that term loosely that you drive across. I have had friends who have come up to Seattle say "What do you mean floating?" and it means just that. The bridges floating on the water. It used to be when you were heading eastbound on one of them (520) you could see Bill Gates house but it is so covered by trees, you can't anymore. Traffic on it around the time Nata would be getting off work though can be a real nightmare.

No worries, I actually had called your number back to find it was your work. By the time you would have gotten there you would have had very little time to search since it got dark fast and the Kryll were out in force. Gamecity is a games event that's been happening in Nottingham for a couple of years....last year was disappointing if you wanted to try out fancy new games in my opinion, and it just didn't feel like a "Gamecity", but the National Archive of Games which is being placed there seems interesting. And the xbox games show - Microsoft are going to be down in Leicester square between the 31st Oct and 2nd Nov, there's stuff like RB 2 and GHWT to play there. And EA "Be the one" is in Trafalgar square between the 31st Oct and 1st Nov.

Santa Cruz is too far for me unless it's late in the day (post 5pm). Used to have to drive up that way all the time when I rowed at Lexington Reservoir.
