it looks awesome! of course by real it doesnt mean functioning but this company called Nightmare armor studios made perfect COG replica armor and sold it for $5,000! :eek: check out their site (google it i cant remember the URL) they do tonnes of stuff but i gotta say the Gears kit is my favorite (well obviously) :D

I would imagine its a bit better material from Nightmare armor... then the amazon one.... id rather have the 949 if I had that kind of money to throw around, but im not rich :D

one of their armor sets (i think its nightmare) looks just like the armour worn in Final Fantasy Spirits Within... wierd lol. but yeah the gears armor was made by them and can still be bought (and custom made to fit you) for a seriously high price but i think the quality of it is awesome! i first heard about it on youtube where theres a vid of all the guys showing off the ermor (they had all of Delta) and then it had the site URL at the end of it so i checked it out and voila! a thread was born! if i had the cash i woulc get the carmine gear in a split second! :D

The standard issue C.O.G. armor (looks like Carmine), looks like the got a power rangers costume and painted it. I don't like the armor they made, put a bunch of skinny panzies in the armor...lol...

My friend bought one its pretty kool i will post pics. I am going to see if i can wear it at the midnight release of gears 2. I don't know how he got it but he wears it every so often.

http://405th.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8197 here's the alternative. WIth just about $100, u can make your own. It's in pepakura format, so download pepakrua viewer to view and use it. Print it out, cut it out, and fold and glue it to have the paper model. Then resin it with aqua resin a few layers. Finally bondo it, and paint, prime, and grind. And you got it!
