Hi,
I got an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+, 2G ddr2 667, 8800gts 320ddr3. When I was still in XP the game plays perfectly, but then I was curious as to how it would look like in DX10 so I upgraded to Vista.
First thing I did was to turn on the DX10/antialiasing option and went on with the campaign mode. But then the problem now with Vista is that the loading time was extremely slow, sometimes it would seem as though it already hanged but it says on the task manager that it's still running. And after it finally finishes loading the game is extremely laggy. So I thought what a bummer I can't use DX10 after all. And so I turned it off, restarted the game and still it was laggy. Ok. now it's just upsetting. I have the same settings in XP and it's still unbearable. So I thought of playing the game in medium settings, turning off DX10 and Vsync. Post processing is set to default. Now, not only that the graphics sucks but it's still laggy as hell.
I made sure that all my drivers are at its latest and I had the latest GOW patch update, what is going on??!!
